Vaping, Tradies and Lung Health - Lung Foundation

Lung Foundation Australia engaged Punchy Studio to address rising vaping rates among Australian tradies, an audience often overlooked in mainstream lung health messaging. The brief was to explain what vaping does to the lungs and why it matters specifically to people working in physically demanding trades, where lung capacity and recovery directly affect daily work. Punchy delivered a character-led animation built around a worksite setting, with visual storytelling that made the science accessible without softening the message. The video was rolled out as part of Lung Foundation’s health and safety training resources and broader public information campaigns aimed at tradie audiences. Services included script development, character design, animation, voiceover direction and motion graphics.
