Perth Children's Hospital Foundation - Grants Toolkit

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (PCHF) is the official and largest fundraiser for Perth Children’s Hospital. The foundation engaged Punchy Studio to create an animated video to address the communication challenge of guiding hospital staff through their unique and sometimes complex grant application process. The brief was to introduce the Grants Toolkit as a central information hub and clarify that awarded grants are only funded once specific donations are secured. We produced a professional and encouraging animated explainer video that outlines the five key funding areas: equipment, research, education, expertise, and patient experience. Our approach focused on providing practical support for Child and Adolescent Health Service employees, highlighting how the toolkit offers assessment criteria, success tips, and best practice templates. The video is deployed on the PCHF website and internal staff portals to empower researchers and clinicians to apply for funding that impacts the lives of sick children in Western Australia. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and a friendly voiceover, we effectively simplified the journey from project idea to successful funding. Polished motion graphics reinforce the call to action, directing viewers to the online toolkit to begin their application journey.
