About Us - AUSMASA

The Mining and Automotive Skills Alliance (AUSMASA) is one of ten Jobs and Skills Councils (JSCs) established by the Australian Government. AUSMASA engaged Punchy Studio to create an animated video to address the communication challenge of explaining its tripartite role in bringing together employers, unions, and governments to solve workforce challenges. The brief was to outline how the council facilitates collaboration between industry and training providers to address skill gaps in the mining and automotive sectors. We produced a professional animated explainer video that uses clean graphics to illustrate the strategic functions of workforce planning and training product development. Our approach focused on how AUSMASA acts as a source of intelligence for industry stewardship, providing strategic advice to the government on national training policies. The video is deployed on the AUSMASA website and at industry events to encourage stakeholders to get involved in building a thriving workforce for future generations. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and an authoritative voiceover, we effectively positioned AUSMASA as the central link between training and industry needs. Polished motion graphics reinforce the call to action, directing viewers to the AUSMASA website to join the journey.
