Our Impact - Family Life

Family Life is a community based not-for-profit organisation in Victoria that has been working with families and children since 1970. They came to Punchy Studio with a brief to create an engaging visual piece that encapsulates their wide reaching impact within the southern metropolitan region of Melbourne. The primary challenge was to communicate the breadth of their services, ranging from family therapy and mental health support to their community op shops, in a way that felt cohesive, warm, and inviting to potential volunteers and donors. We produced a vibrant animated promotional video that uses a friendly, character driven approach to represent the 11,000 individuals the organisation assists each year. By employing a soft colour palette and fluid motion graphics, we illustrated various scenarios where Family Life provides support, such as families experiencing separation or children facing school refusal. The video was deployed across social media channels and the Family Life website to drive community engagement and fundraising efforts. The production involved detailed scripting, professional voiceover, and custom illustration to ensure the brand’s commitment to safe and supportive communities was at the forefront of the narrative.
