How to give Feedback - Settlement Services International
Animated Explainer Video
Settlement Services International (SSI) is a national community organisation supporting refugees, migrants and people seeking asylum across Australia. SSI’s clients often face language and cultural barriers when navigating service systems, including knowing how and when to give feedback about the services they receive. The brief, delivered in partnership with translation specialist Ethnolink, was for an accessible animation explaining the feedback process in a way that lands across SSI’s diverse client base. Punchy produced an animated explainer using a clear, inclusive character animation style. The piece walks viewers through what feedback is, why it matters, the channels available to them, and what happens after feedback is submitted, using simple visual cues and plain language designed to translate well across multiple languages and cultural contexts. The video supports SSI’s client communications and feedback systems, with translated versions extending its reach across the communities SSI serves. Punchy delivered scripting, design, animation, voiceover and motion graphics, working alongside Ethnolink on translation workflows.
