Voice to Parliament - ANTaR

ANTaR is a national advocacy organisation dedicated to supporting the rights and justice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The organisation engaged Punchy Studio to create an animated video to address the communication challenge of promoting the 2023 Indigenous Voice to Parliament referendum. The brief was to define the referendum as a once in a generation opportunity to give First Nations people a say in matters that affect their communities. We produced an inspiring animated explainer video that frames the “Yes” vote as a step toward unity and a better future for all Australians. Our approach focused on the moral significance of the campaign, connecting the referendum to the invitation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart. The video is deployed on ANTaR’s digital platforms and social media channels to encourage supporters to advocate for constitutional recognition within their own social circles. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and a passionate voiceover, we effectively messaged the historical importance of the vote. Uplifting motion graphics reinforce the call to action, urging viewers to elevate the nation by voting “Yes”.
