Family Law: Child Inclusive Practice - CatholicCare Sydney
Animated Explainer Video
CatholicCare Sydney is one of the largest social services providers in NSW, delivering family, counselling, disability and aged care services. They approached Punchy to help explain Child Inclusive Practice in family law contexts: a structured approach that ensures children’s voices and experiences are appropriately represented in family dispute resolution, separation and post-separation processes. The brief was to support practitioner training and parent understanding of how the approach works. Punchy produced an animated training video that explained the principles of Child Inclusive Practice, the role of the child consultant, how children are engaged safely and ethically, and how their input is fed back into the family law process. The animation used a careful, character-led style that handled a sensitive subject with empathy, paired with a measured voiceover and supportive motion graphics. Services included scripting, storyboarding, illustration, animation, voiceover and audio mix. The video was deployed through CatholicCare’s family law and counselling services.
