Workplace Respect: Bystander - Circle Green
Animated Explainer Video
Circle Green Community Legal is a Western Australian community legal centre that supports people experiencing workplace issues, family violence, and tenancy disputes. They approached Punchy to help deliver a workplace respect training module focused specifically on the bystander role: how colleagues who witness inappropriate behaviour can intervene safely, support those affected, and contribute to a respectful workplace culture. Punchy produced an animated training video that worked through the bystander framework using scenario-based examples, covering recognition of inappropriate behaviour, options for intervention (direct, indirect, delegated and delayed), and the importance of follow-up. The animation used an approachable, character-led style that allowed sensitive workplace situations to be depicted without identifying any real workplace context. A measured voiceover guided viewers, supported by clear motion graphics. Services included scripting, storyboarding, illustration, animation, voiceover and audio mix. The video forms part of Circle Green’s workplace respect training resources, used by employers and community organisations across WA.
