The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) regulates workplace relations and industrial safety across Western Australia, with its Wageline service the primary channel for state-system entitlement guidance. Building on earlier Wageline animated explainers produced by Punchy Digital Media, the Private Sector Labour Relations team commissioned a further set of three animated explainers covering different facets of long service leave, with “Taking Long Service Leave” walking employees and employers through the practical steps and rules around accessing accrued LSL entitlements. Punchy produced the explainer in the established Wageline visual system, maintaining consistency with prior videos so the series functions as a cohesive employer-employee education library. Short-form social cuts and accompanying social tiles were delivered alongside the main video for use across DMIRS’s campaign channels. The package was scoped to a March 2024 campaign launch. Services included script refinement against the client’s draft, illustration in the established Wageline style, animation, motion graphics, voiceover production, and the design of supporting social media assets.
