CTP Claims Process - MAIC

The Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC), part of the Queensland Government and working alongside the NIISQ Agency and Nominal Defendant, regulates the state’s compulsory third-party motor accident insurance scheme. The team approached Punchy Digital Media for a series of customer-facing animations to explain key parts of the scheme in plain language, with the CTP Claims Process selected as the first video in the package given the complexity of the topic for everyday Queenslanders. Punchy produced a two-minute animated explainer walking viewers through how a CTP claim is made, what to expect during the process, and where to go for support. The piece was built with custom character illustrations, royalty-free music, and a professional voiceover, designed to make a procedural topic feel approachable. It formed part of a three-video MAIC package supporting the agency’s customer experience function, with translation potential flagged for future rollout. Services included script review, concept design, storyboarding, custom illustration, animation, and voiceover production.
