Lawyer Wellbeing - VLSBC
Animated Explainer Video
The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner (VLSB+C) regulates Victoria’s legal profession. As part of rolling out its Lawyer Wellbeing Systems Theory of Change, the Commission needed communications assets that would land an evidence-based message about lawyer wellbeing with a notoriously time-poor and professionally sceptical audience: the Victorian legal sector, including law students, the judiciary, regulators and academics. Punchy produced a 2.5 minute character animation alongside a 90 second live action interview piece featuring the Commissioner and VLSB+C’s Lawyer Wellbeing Manager, plus additional 30 second and 45 second cuts for social and presentation use. The animation continues the visual style established in earlier Punchy work for VLSB+C, with a tone designed to be warm and empathetic without sliding into the casual or corporate. WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards were maintained throughout. The suite supports the Commission’s Theory of Change rollout across stakeholder presentations, internal communications and social channels. Punchy delivered scripting, character design, animation, motion graphics, live action filming, editing, voiceover, closed captioning and a supporting visual design system spanning infographic, presentation deck, social tiles, workplace poster and fact sheet.
