Capability Definition Tool - NSW Veterans

The NSW Office for Veterans Affairs supports current and former Australian Defence Force personnel and their families through advocacy, recognition and service connection. They approached Punchy to help introduce a Capability Definition Tool, designed to help veterans translate their military skills and experience into language and frameworks that civilian employers recognise. The brief was to give veterans a clear walkthrough of how the tool works and why it’s worth using. Punchy produced an animated explainer that demonstrated the tool in context, showing how a veteran’s military role maps to civilian capabilities, qualifications and career pathways. The animation used a respectful, professional style that acknowledged the audience while keeping the content accessible. Clean motion graphics walked viewers through each step, supported by a measured voiceover. Services included scripting, storyboarding, illustration, motion graphics, animation, voiceover and audio mix. The video was deployed across NSW Veterans channels to support transition and employment outcomes.
