Respect at Work - NSW Safework

SafeWork NSW is the state’s workplace health and safety regulator. The agency engaged Punchy Studio to create a concise animated video to address the communication challenge of reminding businesses that their duty of care extends to preventing workplace sexual harassment. The brief was to raise awareness of the prevalence of sexual harassment, noting that one in three workers has been affected in the last five years. We produced a professional animated explainer video that emphasises the physical and psychological harm caused by harassment, regardless of business size or industry. Our approach focused on employer responsibilities, highlighting that SafeWork NSW provides advice to help businesses meet their legal duties to protect workers. The video is deployed on the SafeWork NSW website and social media channels to encourage employers to stay up to date with their health and safety obligations. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and an authoritative voiceover, we effectively integrated sexual harassment prevention into the broader context of workplace safety. Clear motion graphics reinforce the call to action, directing viewers to the official government website to learn more about the Respect at Work initiatives.
