My Student Progress - ACARA

ACARA’s My School platform includes data on student progress, a concept that can be misunderstood without proper context. ACARA briefed Punchy on a video to help parents and educators understand how student progress is measured and reported, and what the figures actually mean. The challenge was to translate technical assessment concepts into something genuinely useful for non-specialist audiences. We produced an animated explainer that introduced the idea of student progress, illustrated how it’s tracked over time, and clarified common misconceptions, all in a calm, evidence-led tone. The video was deployed across My School and ACARA’s communications channels, supporting parent engagement and informed conversations about student outcomes. Services included scripting, illustration, animation, motion graphics, and voiceover.
