Education Services Australia (ESA) is a not-for-profit company owned by Australian education ministers, developing digital learning products and services for schools across the country. “Multiplicative Strategies” is part of ESA’s ten-part Maths Hub animated series produced by Punchy Digital Media, focusing on the mathematical strategies students use to work with multiplication beyond rote learning, building toward proportional and algebraic reasoning. Punchy collaborated with ESA’s subject-matter team to translate the concept into clear, sequential visual representations, using shared character design and animation language across the series to support teacher and student familiarity. The animation was distributed through ESA’s Maths Hub platform to schools nationwide, supporting both classroom delivery and self-directed learning.
