The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) runs the My School website, the national platform parents and educators use to access information about Australian schools. With the platform evolving, ACARA needed refreshed video communications to help users understand what My School offers and how to navigate it. We produced an updated animated explainer that walked viewers through the site’s purpose, the data it presents, and how to interpret it responsibly. The visual approach used clean illustration and a friendly tone to make a data-heavy subject feel approachable for parents and the broader public. The video was deployed across ACARA’s digital channels and the My School platform itself. The project drew on scripting, design, animation, motion graphics, and voiceover.
