Youth Hub Announcement - Nillumbik Shire Council
Animated Explainer Video
Nillumbik Shire Council is the local government authority for the Shire of Nillumbik in Victoria, Australia. The council engaged Punchy Studio to create an animated video to address the communication challenge of announcing the shire’s first dedicated youth hub and explaining its benefits to the community. The brief was to highlight the Victorian government funding for the project and detail the facilities and services that will be available for young people aged 12 to 25. We produced a professional animated explainer video that showcases the planned modernisation of a council building in Diamond Creek, featuring multi purpose rooms, consulting spaces, and an outdoor area. Our approach focused on a community centric narrative, emphasising that the hub will address critical issues like mental health, social connection, and employment through prevention and early intervention programs. The video is deployed on the council’s participation website and social media channels to keep residents informed about the project’s timeline and the instrumental role played by the local youth council. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and an upbeat voiceover, we effectively messaged the council’s commitment to building a stronger, healthier community for young people and their families. Vibrant motion graphics reinforce the call to action, providing the official web address for those seeking more details on the initiative.
