Tendering & Procurement Process - Campbelltown City Council

Campbelltown City Council, in south-western Sydney, approached Punchy to help local businesses and suppliers understand how to engage with Council’s tendering and procurement process. Many small and medium businesses find local government procurement opaque, missing opportunities they’re well placed to win. The brief was to demystify the process and encourage broader, more diverse supplier participation. Punchy produced an animated explainer that walked suppliers through how Council identifies needs, advertises opportunities, evaluates tenders and awards contracts, with practical guidance on where to find tenders and how to put together a competitive response. The animation used a clean, professional illustration style suited to a business audience, paired with a measured voiceover. Services included scripting, storyboarding, illustration, motion graphics, animation, voiceover and audio mix. The video was deployed on Council’s business and procurement pages, and shared through local business networks.
