Your Council in 2022 – 2023 - Redland City Council

Redland City Council, on Queensland’s Moreton Bay coast, has commissioned Punchy across multiple projects covering waste education, coastal erosion and council reporting. For its annual community report covering the 2022-23 financial year, the council needed an accessible video summary of the year’s investments, services and community outcomes, intended to reach a broader ratepayer audience than the formal annual report document. Punchy produced an animated summary video drawing on the council’s annual report data, organised around the key service areas and capital works that defined the year. The motion graphics treatment matched Redland’s brand and was structured to make statistics and milestones legible at a glance, with on screen text supporting the narration. The video was deployed across Redland’s website and social channels to coincide with the public release of the annual report. Production covered scripting, design, animation, voiceover and motion graphics.
