Zen Control

Zen Control is an industry leader in lighting control systems and DALI 2 technology. The company engaged Punchy Studio to produce an animated video to address the communication challenge of traditional motion sensor arrangements, which often suffer from false triggers, late detection, and high energy consumption. The brief was to explain how a sensor per fitting approach provides superior coverage but is typically avoided due to cost and installation complexity. We produced a technical and visually clean animated explainer video that introduces the Zen Control smart driver as a factory fitted, plug and play solution. Our approach focused on the efficiency of the DALI 2 system, which reduces wiring requirements and lowers overall commissioning costs by treating the light and sensor as a single unit. The video is deployed across Zen Control digital channels and trade presentations to highlight advanced features such as occupancy heat mapping and power monitoring. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and an informative voiceover, we effectively demonstrated how their technology optimises sensor solutions for modern buildings. Polished motion graphics reinforce the call to action, directing viewers to the Zen Control website to explore their smart driver and control systems.
