The brief was to provide compassionate guidance on available support options and empowerment tools to help customers feel in control even when money is tight. We produced a reassuring animated explainer video that outlines practical steps such as requesting extensions via the My Account portal or using the HelpPay app to allow friends and family to contribute to bill payments. Our approach focused on proactive budgeting, highlighting the benefits of switching to monthly billing for smart meter users and identifying eligibility for government assistance and rebates. The video is deployed on the Alinta Energy website and through direct customer outreach to ensure that vulnerable households know exactly where to turn for support. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and an empathetic voiceover, we effectively positioned Alinta Energy as a helpful and accessible service provider. Gentle motion graphics reinforce the call to action, encouraging viewers to speak with the Alinta team for assistance with applications and other support services.
