ANZIIF - Skills Units and Professional Development

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is the leading membership body and provider of education for the insurance and financial services industry. ANZIIF engaged Punchy Studio to create an animated video to address the communication challenge of helping professionals find the time and the right starting point for career advancement. The brief was to introduce their flexible education model, specifically the “skills units” that allow learners to achieve globally recognised qualifications at their own pace. We produced a professional animated explainer video that highlights the digestible nature of these shorter study blocks compared to traditional education. Our approach focused on the practical and relevant nature of the training, showing how units can be combined by job role to lead to industry recognised certificates and diplomas. The video is deployed on the ANZIIF website and through member communications to encourage insurance professionals at all levels to enhance their professional credibility. By combining professional scripting, custom animation, and a motivating voiceover, we effectively simplified the pathway to excellence in the insurance sector. Polished motion graphics reinforce the call to action, directing viewers to the web to take the first step towards a brighter future in the industry.
