Theory of Change - VLSBC
Corporate Video
The Victorian Legal Services Board and Commissioner, the regulator for legal practice in Victoria, returned to Punchy in early 2025 to communicate its new Lawyer Wellbeing Systems Theory of Change. The Lawyer Wellbeing Program needed to translate a complex sector wide change model into something accessible for lawyers, law students, the judiciary, regulators and academics. The brief specified a tone that was warm, inclusive, empathetic and evidence based, avoiding both legal coldness and casual oversimplification. The video walked viewers through the sector, organisation, interpersonal and individual layers of the model, then connected them back to vision and outcomes. Character design drew on real photography of lawyers to keep the animation grounded in the audience it spoke to. The video anchored a broader rollout that included a presentation deck, workplace poster, fact sheets and social tiles, and was used internally and across the Victorian legal sector. Production covered scripting, storyboarding, character design, animation, voiceover, motion graphics and accessibility compliance to WCAG 2.1 AA.
