Live action is useful when you want to show real people, real environments, or authentic interactions. It is a strong fit for case studies, culture and recruitment content, or situations where trust and relatability matter. If you need to demonstrate a physical process or environment, live action may also be more intuitive than animation. We sometimes recommend live action when audiences expect to see the people behind the message, such as a CEO addressing staff or a community program featuring local participants.
Our core live action services are case studies, corporate videos, and brand videos. Case studies focus on real outcomes and authentic stories from the people who experienced them. Corporate videos help organisations communicate clearly with internal or external audiences, such as staff, partners, or stakeholders. Brand videos express who you are, what you stand for, and why you do what you do. We can also supply cutdowns for social media or internal platforms if needed. The format is based on what will best serve the message and audience, not on a fixed template.
Yes. Many of our live action projects use real staff, volunteers, service users, or community members. This often feels more authentic and relatable for public or internal audiences. We take time to brief participants, explain the process, and create a calm environment so they are not overwhelmed. If you prefer actors for privacy, consistency, or compliance reasons, that is also an option.
Most people are not used to being filmed, so we keep the experience relaxed and supported. We use simple prompts instead of scripts, ask open questions, and avoid technical jargon. We show participants where to stand, where to look, and how to pace their speech. For leadership or sensitive subjects, we can run short warm up conversations before the camera rolls. The aim is to remove anxiety so participants sound like themselves rather than reciting lines.

If you are working within a fixed budget, we can recommend approaches that avoid unnecessary production overheads. We do not use cost as a proxy for quality. Instead, we make sure the format matches the communication problem.
Yes. We provide fixed pricing once the scope is defined. This gives certainty for finance teams, procurement, and internal approvals. If the scope changes, such as filming extra days or adding new deliverables, we flag it early and quote it before continuing. There are no hidden surprises.
Pricing typically covers planning, scripting support, shot lists, production crew, filming, editing, sound, and delivery of final files. We can also include accessibility, translations, cutdowns, photography, or campaign variants if needed. We clarify inclusions at the start so expectations remain aligned throughout the project.
Most projects take six to ten weeks depending on scheduling, availability, editing complexity, and the number of stakeholders involved. If you have an immovable launch date, we will shape the timeline backwards and highlight the approval points that matter. If your team is responsive, we can move quickly.
We handle production planning, scheduling, and crew management. Your role is usually to help coordinate access to locations and people. If staff or community members are involved, it can help to have someone on your side who knows the environment and can assist with introductions. You do not need to manage technical aspects of filming.

If something shifts, we reschedule with minimal disruption and keep you informed throughout. Flexibility is part of live action work, and we plan accordingly rather than reacting at the last minute.
Yes. We regularly work to fixed dates, including campaign launches, events, or compliance timelines. The main factor is how quickly feedback and logistics can be confirmed. If your team is responsive, we can move quickly. We will always be honest about what is achievable and never commit to dates we cannot meet.
We structure reviews around rough cuts and fine cuts so feedback is focused and manageable. Stakeholders provide input on clarity, tone, accuracy, and compliance at appropriate stages. If your organisation has legal, policy, or clinical reviews, we make space for those without forcing last minute changes.
It depends on the nature of the change. Edits to pacing, structure, or messaging are usually straightforward. Changes that require new footage will involve an additional filming session. We will always discuss options before committing to extra work. Our goal is to avoid unnecessary reshoots through clear planning upfront.
